Cute As A Button is my new series of original art works of morbid child-like images. The original inspiration was drawn from by my new little nieces. In particular, Josie's fascination with "Scare School"- I think she takes after her Aunty Amy.
This series will be exhibited in the Mini Art Mart during September, at Ruck Rover in Mt Lawley.
Here is a collection of Art works I completed in 2008. Inspiration was from the Mexican holiday Day Of The Dead, or Día de los Muertos. The holiday focuses on gatherings of family and friends to pray for and remember friends and family members who have died.
Prints of these original art works are available either framed or not framed. During 2009 they were sold in the boutique shop Libertine in Perth, Mt Lawley, but can now be purchased over the internet. Please contact me for more information.
